i am impressed totally enjoyed this book i loved each character which was very ell defined would not recommend under 14 years as to the sexual context the story is about shifters and one girl a half breed and music super star ,infinity, as she does not realize that her world is not what she think even though her adopted mother, kara, has told her some things but hides her true birthright from her she has a 'brother' mason who is her manager, this is kind of a love hate relationship as she loves him like a brother and basically ends up hating him also...as the others all want her for their personal use she has to determine who to trust and who not ...as she learns that you cant trust just everybody regardless ....and the ones you do not like just might be the one who will protect you

I liked this book from the first time I read an excerpt from it....reading the actual book was intense this young rock goddess going through so much and not even knowing what is going on around her......seems as if everyone else knows but her. Now my only downfall was I would have liked just a little bit more of intro to the characters so I knew just who was going to be my ones but you don't get that so it leaves you wanting more.....Which is a good thing!!!! because I can't wait for book 2 to come out... but I did like this book and I will be reading the rest of the series for sure!!!!!

This is hard to review. There are so many different aspects going on in this world that we (and Infinity-the heroine) are confused as to what is going on, what she is, who she can trust, etc.
I loved the instant chemistry with Infinity & Boulder and his protectiveness of her.
At this point, I am not sure where her families' loyalties lie.
She is just supposed to be worried about her career, but now she has to fear for her life.
I am interested in where the series will go from here.
Also, beware, it was ended with a big cliff-hanger!
Omg, this book had me hooked from the first sentence. The emontional turmoil, action packed adrenaline roller coaster ride of excitement made this a very good read. The sheer grit and love between the characters had me falling so deep in love with them! This is a very excellent and must read and I am so eagerly awaiting the next installation in this series! Kudos Mrs. Venezuela, I couldn't put this book down and will be sharing with my reading circle!
I recommend this book to people who like paranormal, this book has completely everything. What didn't I like? Well the book felt a bit all over the place, and it felt like the author added a bit here and there to keep the story moving. I'm still not aware of the whole plot so I'm going to assume this is a serial. There is many things happening at once, so it's a bit confusing in places....but I still want to read on. The book states she has two alphas, one who's game for it, and a rather reluctant one. The girl has no shortage of male attention, I'll give her that. Being part were seems to be an attraction but she doesn't seem to be aware of the Valkyrie part.
This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. The concept was new and not your average run of the mill formula for paranormal. I love the fact that it was interracial with us not being beaten over the head by the fact and not constantly mentioned. The characters were described and that's how you knew it was interracial, but the story line was not all about the fact that the were interracial. It was new adult which is becoming one of my favorite genre and the fact that it had love, jealousy,lust and a group of friends that make u want to laugh is my perfect idea of a good book. I felt that I was a part of the book so much that I felt all the emotions of the main character. The men in this book omg what I would not do to be the heroine in this book with those sexy alpha men. Be warned when you start this book be prepared to drop everything because you will not want to stop until it is done. All I can say is hurry please with the next one please before I go into valkarie withdrawal.
I was giving this book in exchange for a honest review, so here it goes
I've read a lot of IRR and PNR before, but this one combines two of my favorite genres in one! Most IRR make the interracial factor the main plot in the story and that's ok, but it tends to get old. I like that Venez told a great PNR novel that just highlighted the fact that the heroine was biracial. It was great to read about a kick ass super-natural African-American women for once! The world that Venez created just drew me in from the get go. A world with immortals, valkyries, animal shifters, vampires, and rogues all fighting to get the upper hand by using Infinity as a pawn for their own personal gain. The cliff hanger ending left me itching to read the next book ASAP!
Well, sadly enough, its another "Cliffhanger" which seems to be the new name for a friggin installment book. I absolutely hate books without a proper ending. Don't take me wrong, I don't mind a plot line that continues thru and binds a series of books together. But, when a book doesn't resolve its main story and ends in the middle of a conflict, then you have an installment instead of a real, full story. The book was well written, although a little difficult to get into (or am I the only one that gets annoyed with catch-all phrases like you're not ready for the truth, or you're not ready to know all of it?). Doesn't build the suspense, it just gets irritating- but then, I'm a believer that if you're at a point you ask the questions and know something;s wrong, then you ARE ready to know the truth. I really wanted to like the book, but too many unresolved issues, too many "its not time to tell you yet" answers, and too many undeveloped characters that were introduced without their motives revealed (indicative of undeveloped writing, or more installment BS that may or may not get answered in the 8th book?).
